Audience approval process
In this document we will walk through the steps for enabling the audience approval process in your GrowthLoop account, submitting an audience for approval and getting it approved.
Turning on audience approval for your teams
In order to mandate Audience Approval for a team within your organization, first navigate to the Organization menu on the left and then click on Teams.
You will notice a check box to the right of the Team name labeled “**Require Audience Approval**”. Enabling that, will force users within that team to go through Audience approval process.
Sending your audience for approval
Users in GrowthLoop can have 3 roles: Owner, Admin or User. If your role is User, and the team you belong to has the “Require Audience Approval” check turned on, then any audiences you create must go through approval, by another user with either role Admin or Owner.
Assuming your user is of type User, when you start creating an audience, you can build and save your audience just like any other user. However, after you save your audience, the actions you can take are slightly different and one option which you’re provided with is to Submit for Approval.
Once you submit your audience for approval, you’ll see that your audience goes from Draft to Pending Approval (on the top-left).
Approving an audience
If the role of your user in GrowthLoop is either Admin or Owner, you have the permission to approve audiences, by navigating to the Review menu on the left.
And here you can see details on the Audience submitted for approval such as its name and size. You can click on the Audience name to view its details, or select it and click Approve to approve it.
Once you’ve approved an audience, you’ll get the green success message and if there are no more audiences pending approval, you’ll see the message below.
Now if we switch back to the user with role User who originally had requested the audience approval, and navigate to our originally created audience, we’ll see that it’s been successfully approved with the green label on the top-left.
