Prerequisites

Before you start:

1. Your organization has AI Studio access (the Studio item appears in the left sidebar).
2. You have enabled AI Studio for at least one Dataset Group you plan to use.

If Studio is missing or chat is disabled, contact your admin or [email protected].

How Studio uses agents

In Studio, you describe an audience or campaign intent in natural language. Agents use your connected warehouse schema (see Enable AI Studio for a dataset group) to propose structured audience logic. Specialized agents handle audiences, validation, and related steps. Suggestions arrive as logic you can open in the standard audience builder.

Underlying models may include providers such as OpenAI or Google Gemini, or an organization-configured model where your warehouse setup supports it.

Open Studio

1. Sign in to GrowthLoop.
2. Click Studio in the left sidebar (palette icon). You land on the Studio home at /v2/studio.
3. Choose the Dataset Group the agents should use (only groups with AI Studio enabled are fully usable). If none are enabled, you’ll see a message with a link to Datasets to turn AI Studio on.

Start a conversation

1. Enter a prompt in the chat box—for example who you want to target, behaviors, or a campaign theme.
2. Optionally attach goals or context from Context Manager when those controls are shown (goals are scoped to the dataset group you select).
3. Press Enter to send (use Shift + Enter for a new line). GrowthLoop opens your conversation at /v2/studio/chat/... and streams agent activity (reasoning, suggestions, previews) in the thread.
4. Use the Studio and Context Manager tabs at the top to move between chat and managing goals/text context.

You’ll see a reminder that agents can make mistakes. Always confirm audience size, filters, and field meanings before exporting.

Start from Audiences

You can also enter Studio while creating an audience:

1. Go to Audiences and click New Audience.
2. Choose Build with AI Studio (natural-language brief).
3. Complete dataset group selection if prompted; you’ll continue in Studio with the same chat experience.

Work with suggestions

When agents return audience suggestions:

• Review reasoning and preview counts where available.
• Open a suggestion in the audience builder to adjust filters, add nodes, and run counts like any other audience.
• Refine through follow-up messages in the same conversation.

Context Manager

Context Manager (tab next to Studio) is where you maintain:

• Goals — Marketing objectives agents can align suggestions with.
• Text context — Additional structured context documents for your team.

Managing context here helps keep Studio conversations aligned with what your organization cares about most.
