Create an Audience with SQL

The fastest way to build an audience is through our Visual Audience Builder or Marve Studio, our AI Audience Assistant. However, sometimes you just want to use SQL. Well, we support that too.

Here is a quick walk through of how to build an audience with SQL in GrowthLoop.

1. Click Models on Left Hand Menu. Provide your Model Name.
2. Write SQL for your audience. You can use any tables accessible in your Data Cloud Source Connection. Click Save Model.

3. Connect your Model to a Dataset.

   1. Click Datasets in Left Hand Menu. Click Dataset tab. Then click New Dataset.
   2. Select Is Primary Dataset. Select Dataset Source Type SQL Model. Select your Model. Then scroll and select Create.
   

4. Add to a Dataset Group. This registers your audience to be exported.

   1. Click New Dataset Group.
   2. Provide Group Name. Select Dataset you just created. Click Create

5. Click Audiences in left hand menu. Click New Audience. Select the newly created Dataset Group.

6. Give your audience a name and click Export

7. Export your audience to any Destination connected to GrowthLoop.
