GrowthLoop Generated Fields

What are "GrowthLoop Generated Fields" and how can you use them?

Overview

If you’ve ever exported audiences to marketing destinations like email platforms, you’ll know how important it is to have the right fields available. Typically, when exporting audience data, you include personalization fields such as city, gender, or device ID—data that helps you personalize messages and optimize your campaigns at the destination.

At GrowthLoop, we’ve decided to take this a step further by introducing GrowthLoop Generated Fields, a set of system-level fields designed to give you even more control and visibility over your exported audiences. These fields can simplify how you organize, track, and manage audience exports, enhancing your overall marketing process.

What Are GrowthLoop Generated Fields?

GrowthLoop Generated Fields are additional system fields that accompany your audience exports. While you already export standard user properties to your destinations, these new fields provide added context to your export, making it easier to track where and when an audience was exported and tie it back to specific campaigns, journeys, or steps.

With GrowthLoop Generated Fields, you’re not just exporting audience data; you’re exporting valuable metadata that can help streamline your marketing efforts.

  • Audience Name: The name you’ve given to the audience.
  • Export Date: The exact date and time the export was generated.
  • Destination Name: The name of the destination to which the audience is being sent.

In addition, when exporting from a Journey, GrowthLoop provides even more context with additional fields:

  • Journey Name: The name of the Journey.
  • Journey Step ID: The identifier for the specific step in the Journey that triggered the export.
