Prerequisites

  • Make sure you have an Eloqua account set up. If not, get in contact with Oracle Sales.
  • User must have Advanced Users – Marketing permissions.

Set up destination

  1. When you sign into GrowthLoop, navigate to the Destinations tab on the left sidebar and click New Destination in the top right corner.
  2. In the window, type Eloqua into the search bar and click Add Eloqua.
  3. Next, select/insert the following information:
    1. Destination Details
      1. Destination Name: This is how the destination will be named and referred to in to the app going forward. It is helpful to make this name β€œmarketer friendly” so everyone on your team knows its purpose.
      2. Sync frequency: This is the default frequency audiences will be synced to a destination. Marketers can always change frequency of an export to Eloqua, but this sets the default.
    2. Credentials
      1. Company Name (Site Name): This is the value before the backslash in your Eloqua login (SiteName\Username)
      2. Username: Use the username of an Eloqua account with API access.
      3. Password: This is the password for the username provided above. Ensure it's the correct password for the Eloqua account you're connecting.
  4. Go ahead and select Create, and we’ll validate we have all the proper permissions to load audience data to Eloqua. You should now see it in your list of connected destinations!
