Magnite ID Graph S3

Learn how Magnite ID Graph S3 exports are validated and delivered from GrowthLoop.

In this article, we'll guide you through connecting Magnite ID Graph S3 to GrowthLoop and exporting your audiences to the destination.

Magnite is an independent sell-side advertising platform. This integration allows you to export your GrowthLoop audiences to Magnite ID Graph S3 as membership and taxonomy files delivered to S3 for identity-based audience activation.

Prerequisites

To integrate with Magnite ID Graph S3, make sure you have a destination configuration that includes the required AWS and Magnite fields.

You can use GrowthLoop's in-house setup or create a custom connection. For the custom connection, follow the steps below:

  1. Required credentials for custom connection:
  1. Before creating the destination, ensure your Role ARN has permission to write to Magnite S3 bucket.

Note

For a custom connection, coordinate with Magnite to set up a role ARN with access to their S3 bucket. Magnite will provide the role ARN, source, and bucket values to use.

Set up destination

  1. Log into GrowthLoop and click the Destinations tab on the left sidebar.
  2. Click New Destinations on the upper right side.
  3. Search for Magnite ID Graph S3 in the destination modal and click Add Magnite: ID Graph S3.
  4. Enter the required information in the modal, then click Create.
    1. Destination Name: This is how the destination will be named and referred to in the app going forward.
    2. Sync Frequency: The default frequency audiences will be synced to the destination.
    3. Credentials: Make sure you have all credentials ready from Prerequisites step.

Export to destination

  1. Navigate to your list of audiences by clicking the Audiences tab on the left sidebar.
  2. Choose an existing audience or create a new one.

  1. Once created, click the Export button on the upper right side.
  2. Search for Magnite: ID Graph S3 in the export modal and then click Select.
  3. Under Configure Match Field Settings, select the appropriate fields from your primary dataset to match customer identities.
    • User ID: Map your internal user identifier to the user_id field.
    • Persistent ID: Map your persistent device identifier (like IDFA or GAID) to the persistent_id field.

Note

You must map at least one of User ID or Persistent ID to export data to Magnite ID Graph S3.

  1. Now, set up your export settings:
    1. Export Name: Automatically populated with your audience name.
    2. Campaign Type: Choose between One Time to export the audience once or Ongoing to continuously export new audience members as they qualify.
    3. Export Schedule: Configure the frequency and timing of your exports.
  2. Finally, click Export to send your audience to the destination!

Find your audience

GrowthLoop publishes the export to the S3 bucket on AWS following the pattern: {internal_magnite_bucket}/ingress/provider=growthloop/source={source}/memberships/date={YYYYMMDD}/hour={HH}/delivery_type=full/membership_{internal_audience_id}_{salt}_{segment_id}.csv
