Use LiveRamp Data Marketplace as a GrowthLoop destination to export Audiences to LiveRamp via SFTP for Data Marketplace distribution.

This destination is separate from LiveRamp SFTP and LiveRamp Activation. Use Data Marketplace when your LiveRamp team requires marketplace segment naming (including the > taxonomy delimiter) rather than standard activation SFTP deliveries.

Prerequisites

• A LiveRamp Data Marketplace SFTP account provisioned by your LiveRamp representative.
• SFTP credentials (username and password or SSH key).
• Host, port, and upload folder for your marketplace drop location.
• Optional encryption settings if LiveRamp requires encrypted files.

Set up destination

1. In GrowthLoop, navigate to Destinations in the left sidebar.
2. Click New Destination in the upper right corner.
3. Search for LiveRamp Data Marketplace and click Add LiveRamp Data Marketplace.
4. Enter the following destination details:
   1. Destination Name: A clear name your team will recognize.
   2. Sync Frequency: Default export frequency.
   3. Username and Password, or SSH Key (and optional key password / algorithm).
   4. Host, Port, and Upload Folder from LiveRamp.
   5. Encryption Algorithm and Encryption Key if required by your LiveRamp onboarding.
   6. Prefix for Personalization Fields (Optional): Up to five characters; defaults to fw.
   7. Use Bucketing (Optional): Organize large audience libraries into numbered subfolders. Coordinate with LiveRamp before enabling.
5. Click Create. GrowthLoop validates the SFTP connection.

Note

Marketplace export names may include the greater-than character (>) in segment naming. Use this destination instead of LiveRamp SFTP when your taxonomy requires > in segment names.

Export to destination

1. Navigate to Audiences in the left sidebar.
2. Open the Audience you want to export and click Export.
3. Select your LiveRamp Data Marketplace destination.
4. Under Configure Match Field Settings, map supported identity columns such as Email, Phone, Client Customer ID, Ramp ID, or Mobile Device ID.
5. Set the Export Name using your LiveRamp marketplace taxonomy (including > when required).
6. Configure one-time or ongoing export settings and click Export.

Find your audience

1. Log in to LiveRamp.
2. Open the Files page or marketplace segment view configured for your account.
3. Confirm the file drop and allow LiveRamp's normal ingestion window (often 12–72 hours) before activation.
