Iterable

If you use Iterable to manage your messaging campaigns, you can trigger those campaigns directly from GrowthLoop journeys without switching tools.

Here's how to access that:

1. Head over to GrowthLoop and create a journey.

2. Drag a Destination node into the journey and choose your Iterable destination.

3. In the destination node configuration, select the campaign action you want to run:

   1. Send Email
   2. Send SMS

Send email

1. Choose Send Email as the export action.

2. Configure the email campaign:

   1. Recipient's Email -- choose the field that contains the recipient's email address.
   2. Email Template -- choose the Iterable campaign you want to trigger. In GrowthLoop, this dropdown shows active triggered campaigns from Iterable for the email channel.
   3. Template Variables -- map your GrowthLoop dataset or realtime event fields to the variables required by the template.
   4. Send Test Email -- send a test email before publishing to verify the configuration.

When you select a campaign, GrowthLoop loads the variables from the Iterable template linked to that campaign.

Send SMS

1. Choose Send SMS as the export action.

2. Configure the SMS campaign:

   1. Recipient's Phone Number -- choose the field that contains the recipient's phone number.
   2. Recipient's Email -- if shown in your workspace, map the email field required for the Iterable send configuration.
   3. SMS Template -- choose the Iterable campaign you want to trigger. In GrowthLoop, this dropdown shows active triggered campaigns from Iterable for the SMS channel.
   4. Template Variables -- map your GrowthLoop dataset or realtime event fields to the variables required by the template.
   5. Send Test SMS -- send a test message before publishing to verify the configuration.

When you select a campaign, GrowthLoop loads the variables from the Iterable template linked to that campaign.

For SMS sends, make sure the phone number field is mapped correctly. Some workspaces may also require an email mapping in the same configuration.

Once the journey is published, every user who reaches that destination node will receive the selected Iterable campaign using the mapped recipient field and personalization values.
